#1 Clutch Series III which one if there is a choice?

Post by Malk » Sat Sep 08, 2012 5:04 am

Now and again when depressing clutch more often after a run and when its warm I get aboslutely nothing, pump it and then I can just select a gear.

I felt this was either master or slave cylinder rather than clutch that works well rest of time unless its breaking up?? (Not too mechanically minded!)

The chap who's just tightened hubs said clutch not too bad they can get away without taking whole gearbox out and suggests clutch and slave cylinder replacement together.

Firstly any thoughts, sexcondly if I do go this route can anyone suggest a good clutch if there is a choice (not checked yet) that I guess will then last the lifetime I have the car anyway!
