On my 1970 E Type 2 +2 I have a 3AW warning light relay for the charging system. I realise from the nature of the system it needs heat to operate but I am not sure how much heat it should produce to the outside case. If anyone has had any experience with this, I would keen to hear about it.
Thanks
Ian

Not much is the answer . It should be roughly the same temperature as the general underbonnet temperature . If it is getting hot beyond that then you probably have a fault
