#1 Plasma cutters and dodgy mechanics

Hi all,

Well just thought I would say what an excellent tool a plasma cutter is. Not used them before as I had oxy acetylene for my steel cutting days. Plasma cutters are quite cheap (2nd hand Hypertherm is great) and just need 13 amps and a compressor.

However rebuilds in the 90s... Is it me or were most dodgy affairs done by YTS day release? I was worried about taking out the floor cross beam as someone had welded it all the way long to a new floor, but I realised their welding is welded to itself not to floor or cross beam. The only to offer slight resistance was the seam sealer... But the look is still very sound and good luckily.

Well back to it. Looking forward to shot blasting the shell soon and having something clean to work with. Just want to get the junk off first.
