Adjusting bumper height
#1 Adjusting bumper height
I need to adjust the height of my front bumper slightly on one side (it is 1/2" too high on one side and makes everything look lop-sided). I can't figure out how to access the securing nuts that are behind the bodywork (one near the mouth and one near the wheel arch). What do I have to remove to get access to them? Thanks.

Don't series 2 bumpers have cut outs underneath so that you can get to the nuts?
Either way you have to remove the headlight scoops to get to the other side. You will then find the bumpers have some adjustment but I am not sure you will get half an inch without adjusting the bodywork too.

All the nuts that hold the bumpers on the S2 are accessible. There is a bolt (5/16) under the wheelarch that holds the end. Loosen off these bolts and you might get lucky.
If I were going to do this, I would loosen off all bolts (including badge bar) just enough so you can just about move the the bumper. Try and line everything up and then tighten , checking as you go.
