#1 Torque for camshaft cover studs

Greeting from Houston TX,
I have a 1967 E-Type 2+2 and had to take the cylinder head out following a blown head gasket. As I am putting it back together, I am looking for the torque to use for the camshaft studs, i.e. the studs to which the camshaft bearing cap and the cam cover are bolted to. I have found that the tightening torque for the bearing cap nuts is 15lb.f.ft, but is this the same torque for tightening the stud itself into the cylinder head, before you even start putting back the bearing cap? I'd rather ask a silly question than crack the cylinder head!
