Series 1 4.2 Engine Knocking Noise.
#1 Series 1 4.2 Engine Knocking Noise.
My 4.2 Series 1 engine is making a loud knocking noise which stops when it warms up, it's oil pressure is good and it has good power, but smokes a little. Any ideas what could be causing the knocking noise??.

Probably piston slap.
