Firstly as its xmas day I would like to wish everyone and their families A Very Happy Xmas,
My question is that when I turn my ignition on I can hear my fuel pump clicking away and although their is fuel in the tank it does not stop like you would expect when the fuel lines are primed,
I have not had it running yet since I collected it as I been busy with work and only today , yes Xmas day, have I charged the battery and tried to start it but no joy.
I can't smell petrol even after cranking it over for quite a while.
I will check for a spark later and take a fuel line off but I just was not sure about the fuel pump constantly pumping,
Any help would be appreciated
Malcolm

Dont worry that is normal, there is a return line and fuel is pumped continually, if you listen carefully by the tank you will hear it returning to the tank. If the fuel pumps stops that's when the problems start.
Sounds like you have an ignition problem.
