Hello,
I have a 1970 series 2 FHC with 59000 miles on it and the clutch is on its last legs. It doesn't take up until almost fully released and there is often judder. I'm working my way around the rubbers including engine mounts which are quite deformed which may account for some of the judder, but I am going to have to drop the engine out and do the clutch before much longer. I'm keen to get any recommendations for a brand or supplier for the replacement kit. I have used a few local Aussie parts dealers as well as sourced parts from XKs in the past, but as this is such a big job I don't want to have to do it again for a while. I'm just after a standard clutch kit, but a good quality one
Also is it possible at nearly 60000 miles that its on its original clutch?
Many thanks. Alan

Hi Alan,
I have just fitted an AP Racing Organic (Green Spot) clutch plate into my Series one, its the 9 1/2" diaphragm type. I have the same clutch plates in my MK2 Jaguar and C-Type Jaguar copy. These are excellent clutch plates. I also used the AP Racing Clutch covers.
