I have the RS5 on an XK150. Very period correct, and so silent esp noticeable in a roadster, without too much traffic around you. Nowhere as good as the radials with Michelin Pilote X at the top, but with several XKs, I can enjoy the difference between the cars.
What about the R5 racing tyres? What is the main experience to be enjoyed with these?

Great turn-in and grip (had mine on a track night-fantastic!). Tramline a lot but I think that all crossplies do that (never tried RS5s). Some dubiety reference legality on road!? Expensive and probably easily damaged with clumsy parking etc.

R5's - Not legal for road use, will invalidate your insurance and an MOT failure. Probably great fun on the track though.
