Having a running on problem since fitting my Edis, cannot find anyone who wants or knows how to check the programme, so I wonder if I need a colder plug?.any recommendations from Edis users ??

Have you fitted 'resistor' plugs which are mandatory for EDIS/Megajolt? If you check through the EDIS/Megajolt support thread you will find the reasons why and also a recommendation of where to take the car (in the UK) to have the system optimised on a rolling road. You could of course simply try uploading one of the ignition maps referenced in the thread.

Yes, I have the resistor type, but bought on guesswork, just checked the Denso website and it looks as if these I have are fairly hot ones, but couldnd.t reference these particular ones which are graded K20TXR,..rolling road facilities are rare around here, one of the local diagnostic guys made remarks to the effect that he wouldn't take it on in case he "blew up the engine" so looks like I will have to go out and find some 12 year old with greater computer skills than myself?which will not be difficult !!nothingon the website will down load on this Apple, I have borrowed an old laptop with windows 7 so hope we can do something with that?I'm afraid I'm at an age which is not compatible with modern technology !!! but will battle on...

You need NKG BPR5 ES plugs. Hi-Tech Motorsport in Cradley Heath have the skills to play with your EDIS/Megajolt plus a young lad who knows his way around a computer. Highly recommended.
