Rebuilding the rear end
Couple of questions ref washers
1 Should the outer fulcrum shaft have a washer on the outside of the cradle
2 same again should the inner fulcrum shaft have a washer on the outside of the cradle
When removed the iris had some with and without
Any pics or help please
All catalogues don't show any

I think that you are correct; they are not factory fitted.
Having said that I have fitted them on both my IRS rebuilds; I don't like to tighten nuts down onto fresh powdercoat.

My feeling too. The hardened steel shims (0.5mm are good ones) from Ducati engines make brilliant thin, unobtrusive and slippery seatings ......... ask your local Dealer for a poke around in his Magic Box ! Mine's got 35 years' worth in it.
