Choke light
#1 Choke light
The choke light has stopped working on my S1 3.8 FHC. Any typical things to check before I start routing around behind the dash!

Not really. There's a switch which takes power from one side and is earthed at the other, that turns the light on when the choke mechanism is on.
So it's either the globe, the switch or a wire's fallen off.
Easiest way to get at it is to remove your tacho and work through the hole.

Maybe the bulb? I know the dashboard lights very rarely fail, but recently my ignition light failed to come on, first thought alternator, checked it out, all O K. Turned out to be the bulb had expired.
