#1 Boot underside

Post by Arbington » Tue Aug 05, 2014 9:00 pm

Hi all
My boot floor under the car is stripped back to original metalwork. Would this area have originally had just seam sealer then the various primer paint coats?

Any spot welds etc would be visible through the paint. Or does the area often get filled and smoothed?

Any pointers welcome thanks.

Smoothed-over is bad - show everything like the factory did and people will know there's no filler over rust.
