Hi Everyone
I seem to remember there was a thread about what rubber edging would look the neatest for the sugar scoops. Well I've re-edged mine with the black sheath stripped from a two core electrical cable.
The sheath is very flexible and easily fits around the whole sugar scoop.
Here's a photo of the scoop with the edging fitted(on the right) The one on the left still has the old rubber tubing fitted:-

I think it looks very neat and an improvement on what was on before. If you need more padding then a larger three core sheath might be the way to go.
Cheers
Alan

I did this on motorbike number plate mounts years ago, but a bonus these days would be it gets you out of the Hoovering for a month, while SWMBO figured out why the ubiquitous cable thieves took the insulation instead of the copper wire.ALAN COCHRANE wrote:If you need more padding then a larger three core sheath might be the way to go.

Damn! I've missed a trick there. The Boss has a Dyson with a light grey cable. I'm not sure it would look as good- or would it?
