Hi,

I?m puzzling over the route of the starter motor cable on my late 65 FHC.
I have done a search and the advice is that it goes along the bottom frame rail.
This seems a bit of a torturous route for the cable; the connector at the side of the bulkhead is more at the level of the top rail and I cannot see in any picture I have studied, any trace of it on the bottom rail.

Could somebody please confirm its detailed route and perhaps point me in the direction of some photos.

hi, Paul. The starter cable comes off the terminal at the left side of the car, runs along the underside of the outer/upper frame rail, continues under the upper member of the picture frame, and then continues along the inner/upper right-hand rail on its way to the starter. This is the route take on both of my Series One E-Types.
