#1 Crashroll trim, chrome end cap?

Hi Folks
The two map shelfs under the dash are fronted with whats called Crashroll Trims. As you can see from the photo below someone previous has re-trimmed one (or both at different times). The left is vinyl, and the right is leather (and I think vinyl would probably have been orig) but the right had a chrome trim. It's hard to imagine if originally there was no chrome trim that someone would have fitted it. SNG Barratt's have no chrome trim apparently. (BD30263 & 4)
I am re-trimming the left and want to know what you all think is correct, and if there should be chrome trim, then where I might look for one. I think that it does look much better with the trim.
