Hi,
I am cleaning up parts and reassembling my engine bay.
The metal breather pipe (C24740) between the front cover breather on my 4.2 engine and the adapter on the air box has a pin hole in it. The pipe is not rusty and the hole looks regular as if it is a drilling.
It is in the centre and looks like it sits at the lowest point of the pipe when it is mounted.
I can easily weld it up, but should this pin hole be there?
Thanks,
Paul
Pin hole in breather pipe?

Yes, it acts as a drain for the condensate that comes via the breather.
