Hi, can anyone tell me which is the correct otter switch for a late '62 E-Type? From pictures it appears early cars seem to have a red part to the top and later cars have a black part to the top? Any info appreciated!
Thanks
Adam

The whole thread is worth reading if you have an early car!

Not a clue I'm afraid. It is a service part so difficult to know when they were fitted in the car's life. Best guess would be mid 1964.

Thank you I will use the latter type, as I have not seen any of the early type for sale.
