#1 fan blade serie one

Post by Polse7317 » Thu Mar 24, 2016 2:19 pm

I'd like to change only the fan blade on my serie 1 , anyone knows where i can find a more efficiency blade without changing the motor?

You should not do that. A bigger fan will cause the motor to run slower and over heat or burn out. Consider fitting a Coolcat fan/motor along with the upgraded thermo-switch (a very reliable Mitsubishi unit actually). Details here: http://www.coolcatcorp.com/category/CS.html and shipping is very quick. You can also buy them in the UK from Ken Verity.

David is right. Fit a coolkat fan. I did. Works fine. It can be done without removing the radiator or cowling...does take some patience but the coolkat comes with a mount that fits straight on the bracket where the old Lucas fan was....job done.. I bought mine direct from the USA. Delivery took about ten days.

Ken does not have a web site and can only be paid by cash or cheque. Maybe better to order it direct from Coolcat? You can use their web site and, as someone else says, delivery is very fast.

If you want to contact Ken his number is: +44 1709 838352
