IIRC all four retaining screws are self tappers. Unfortunately the headlamp bowl is missing from the J30 SPC and although there is a drawing in the J37 it is not referenced anywhere.

The bowl itself is screwed to the body using self tapping screws. There is a rubber seal that fits in between the two.
The glass headlamp is held in a carrier by a chromed trim which again is held in place with smaller self tappers.
This unit is then held into the bowl with a spring, and two special adjusting screws that go into the threaded holes in the bowl. These are about 30mm or so long and have a groove around the head which locates into a slot on the carrier. This screw is part number 8599.
See diagram 55 in the S1 parts manual.

#7 SCREWS
Hi Clive
The screws that hold the the headlight bowls on are listed at page 290 in the spares book. From recollection they are 10/32 x 3/8 slotted fillister. Shakeproof washers. Fillister headed screws are also used to attach the other lights too.

The set screw part number is UFS.310/3H in J.30. That tells you the exact specification which you can decode using this guide from our KB: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/849 ... teners.pdf
So UFS.310/3H = fine thread, set screw, round head slotted, 3/16" thread, 3/8" long
