#1 Throttle pedal assembly LHD to RHD

Post by ca1066 » Thu Oct 08, 2015 10:55 am

I am converting a S2 from LHD to RHD and want to know whether the existing Lhd throttle pedal assembly can be transferred and adapted/ modified or whether it is essential to buy a Rhd S2 pedal assembly.I realise the lhd is floor mounted and the rhd suspended but besides being not authentic is there a practical problem ? In the overall cost of the conversion this is an expensive item. Any comments or advice would be appreciated. Many thanks Paul[/b]

Its completely different and is supported differently as well.

Buy a RHD one.

If money's a problem, forget the conversion and get lots of European trips in. Seriously. I only ever had one RHD E when I lived in the UK.

It might be a bit of a stretch getting from South Africa to mainland Europe though Pete!
