#1 Water pump, anti freeze , gasket goo and search facility

Post by Tony » Sun Nov 01, 2015 10:17 am

Re fitting my new water pump after the old one gave up the ghost. Do I use gasket goo and any recommendations for Anti freeze and the mix I should use.

I have searched Anti freeze in the search box but it comes up with lots of topics not even mentioning the word anti freeze. I never seem to have any joy with the search facility. Am I doing something wrong?

Tony : I have a tube of wellseal. As it's very expensive , and the tube will last me for ever, I'll drop it off to you

Thanks again everybody. I must try and do more research before asking questions. Then again if we don't ask questions then the forum would be very thin and the knowledge base empty.

Chris, you must regret living near me
