Hi chaps

I've had my new wires and tyres delivered this morning for my S2 fhc

I'm changing them from the 6 1/2 inch wheels with 205 tyres I bought her with, back to the 5" wheels and 185 tyres as she was designed to wear.

Question is, do I need to adjust the geo setup at all, or cam I just change them over and go straight out for a drive?

Changing the wheels should not affect the geometry. Go out and enjoy the drive - your fingers and backside will tell you if everything is OK. Might be worth having the suspension checked anyway if it has not been done recently.

Worthwhile investing around 30 quid on getting it measured on a Hunter machine. If castor is wrong it affects high speed handling.

Where can that be done? My local garage told me their hunter machine doesnt have data on E types so they cant do them, also if the car has wire wheels the spinners stop the device being fitted correctly?

The adaptors do fit over the standard wheels. Get the garage to look for XKE.
