#1 SU Needle Replacement Help

Post by neil4444 » Tue Mar 15, 2016 12:28 pm

I'm just replacing my standard needles with UE needles (due to change of filter). Please does anyone know how far into the piston I should seat the needle. There's a groove in the needle but I'm not sure if thhis is a depth marker or groove for the clamping screw. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks both. Believe it or not I searched for needle replacement on both the SUCarbs site & this forum without success. Needles now correctly installed.
