Electrical problem

My indicators, side lights and ignition light are not working, I've checked bulbs and all are fine, hazards work fine(on a seperate circuit) fuse 5 seems ok main beam, and high, and brake lights all work. Bit puzzled

Check the fuse block. Sometimes the fuse is OK but the block becomes distorted meaning the clips holding the fuse are out of kilter. Do you have a test meter? If so it should be relatively easy to check things through with the aid of a circuit diagram. A patch cord with alligator clips either side can be useful to temporarily by-pass fuses and connectors.

Odd as sidelamps should be on F5, indicators on F7 and ignition on F6. The Hazard lights are on a separate fuse F4 so that is why they are working. Is the car original or has it been rewired by someone? If it is correct then the problem lies between the fuses and the battery.

I suggest you start by going through each and every electrical item (all ancillaries, lights including all warning lights, interior etc, dash lights, heated rear screen etc etc) and make a list of what is faulty. This should help point to a fuse block or common connector. Do you have a decent wiring diagram (preferably in colour) to work from? If not PM me your email address.
