Hi All,
I have a Series 2 2+2 and about to try and fit front and rear screen upper and lower chrome strips. I bought them all fom SNG Barrett. Do I soften the rubbers up or use any form of lubricant? I am told it can be difficult to get the chrome strips into the grooves in the rubber. Any tips would be helpful. Many thanks.

Hi Bernie, it was quite hard for me to fit rubbers and chrome as you are going to. I used those "press " which are very usefull:
Before , i bent the chrome enough so they matched with the screen curve

Thank you for the information. Did you use any adhesive? Where did you find the presses? Many thanks
