..is the difference between a tappet that you can hear driving at 60mph and blessed silence.

During some recent work on my S1.5 I checked and re-shimmed the tappets. #5 inlet was at 7 thou. Corrected it to 4 thou and problem solved.

Don't tell me that !!

Now I have to check all my buckets. Maybe I'll just delay until the short summer is over, nice job for the autumn (in 2 weeks )
