My rear discs are retained by nyloc nuts - seems to me that this is potentially too hot for this type of locking nut. Wikipedia says 121 DegC maximum. Is there any authoritative view on this? What are Barrayts etc supplying if you order them? I would have thought wired nuts would be the way to go here.

I second Steve's point. The discs get significantly hotter than 121 Deg C. Philidas or Metaloc are required. Same at the front for the Hub/Disc fasteners.

Knew those nuts had a special name....I agree with the others....avoid nylons.
