Hi all,
I found my radio console features some mounting points of which I am unsure what goes where ?
Rear upper: there is a nut nearby on the Chassis. I think this is were the chrome threaded bolts go in.
Rear lower: no idea. Is this the olace for the knurled nuts ?
Inside the console: Left and right are rectangular latches I cannot find a fixation point for ?
Outside front: there are 2 rectangular latches with nuts inside I found no use for - maybe the underdash pockets attach here ?

Carsten,
I believe you are correct regarding the rear, upper mounting locations. As for the others, pictures would really help. There are many people on here who could help you out. The more information you can provide, the better. Pictures speak many more words.
Cheers,

If the 2+ 2 is like the FHC then you are correct.Durango2k wrote:

If you look on the S1 4.2 Factory Fit posts you will see a couple of photos at least showing the knurled nuts

Hi guys,
Seems I will have to go for the removeable indicator strip idea. There is no way in gaining another 1.5 cms which I would need if I would go for the factory installation.
Now, the radio console has 2 "tabs" or "wings" on the top end. These would, I think, hind me from using knurled knobs here. I took a pic to show them:

Then, I wonder where to connect the rectangular tabs on the outside to ?
