Upper inner Bulkhead Wax protection

Whilst my dash top is off I have had a good look around at the inner space underneath the scuttle panel (in front of the windscreen), from the inside.

Is is an expansive void extending from one A pillar the the other. It is in good order at the moment in my car, it being a recently imported West Coast fhc.

The metal would appear to have almost no paint on it at all from the factory, thereby being susceptible to rust, though leaks and condensation, especially along the bottom seam, I would assume.

It would only take me a few minute to blow in some hot atomised odourless waxoyle spray under 100 psi, with the appropriate probe.

My concern is I would also coat the heater pipes which might make life pretty smelly when they are carrying hot coolant.

There are high temperature modern (up to 200 degrees C) cavity waxes on the market now, some in aerosol versions.
Dinitrol, 3m, Dynax, etc. Don't use Waxoyl, there are far superior products now available.
Let's face it, if behind your bulkhead is 200 degrees C, the smell of dripping wax will be the least of your worries!

I've sprayed waxoyl there.

As I very rarely have the heater on, even during the coldest of days, I can't say I've noticed any waxoyl based smells resulting. More usually I get that dry cardboard musty smell from the heat exchanger and tubes behind the dash.

And as I've said before, I have no complaints with waxoyl, which has kept my cars rust free for a combined total of over thirty five years.
