I’m sure you could make this fit with off-the-shelf, used Jaguar parts (bellhousing, etc.) but why do you want to?

Replacing a nice, slick-shifting 4.2 gearbox with an archaic, recalcitrant Moss gearbox flies in the face of what most people want or do.

Of course, it’s your car so do as you please with it.

Yes although you may have difficulty with the starter motor mounting.

No.

Need more facts to be able to answer definitively, (like length and lever position), but even assuming it’s not an overdrive gearbox, and your car is a 2+2, it still won’t fit AFAIK.

If the XK150 box is dramatically shorter than the XK120 or 140 I could be wrong.

If either assumption in para 1 is incorrect then I’m definitely right, AFAIK.
