Is it possible to identify original (vs replica) PL700 headlights without pulling the bulb out?
Mine have ‘700 Headlamp’ above ‘Made in England’ stamped on the lower edge of the lens. There is also the number 556467 stamped vertically top right on the lens. The rear of the lamps are bronze coloured glass which I believe suggests they are original.
Just wondering if it is possible to replace the glass only on these units. I’ve just noticed a crack right across one of mine.
