Any help with finding the correct make and model for the radio Jaguar would have used in my series 1 3.8, the car has had a full restoration and no radio re fitted, I’m aware you can have these fitted with the modern blue tooth system ect,
Any help would be appreciated,
Craig

The Optional Extras section of Jaguar's J30 Spare Parts Catalogue lists the Smiths Radiomobile HMV 500T radio and several other radios as options for early E-types.
I purchased an HMV 500T about 10 years ago for my 1961 E-type from Tadpole Radios (www.TadpoleRadios.co.uk). What a beautifully restored HMV 500T radio!
- I would recommend contacting Tadpole to discuss the acquisition of a 500T radio.
Agenta Audio, West Yorkshire, UK currently lists an HMV 500T for sale -- see:

Of course The Forum provides excellent information on early radios, see Item #34.
