Finally my car is ready for the body shop although they can't take it until the new year.
The one area I always come back to is the use of seal channels.
My car came with channels fitted around quarter lights and A×B door posts but ALL were rusted through.
My concern is typically how long does it take before the new channels start to rust and even though they're fitted, does experience say, the wise move is to remove them and just stick the seals in position.
Advise of the experienced owners would be much appreciated.
