#1 Shaft repair sleeves

Post by alunwill » Thu Jul 30, 2026 8:25 pm

My companion flange on the input drive to the diff has a groove from the oil seal.

Has anyone had experience of using a speedy sleeve to overcome potential leaks from this type of problem. If so, were there any issues regarding the life of the oil seal because of the increased shaft thickness.

Many thanks

They're only a few thou thick. No problem with using them at all.

I've used them many times. Never a problem.

Highly recommended and use loctite (as a sealer) to prevent weeping.
