Removing rear seats on a Series 1 2 + 2

Hi all,
1966 Series 1 4.2 2 + 2: I need to remove the rear seats to get at the plates that access the rear brakes. The cushion comes out easily but how do I remove the sliding seat back rest - I think it is called the squab?

Two bolts in the base plate of the parallel linkage each side. It's a fairly heavy item so don't do your back in reaching over to lift it.

once you have removed those bolts, you need to knock it up-wards to unhook the seat from the upper retaining clips.

And be careful not to rip the side cushions, the edges of the hinges are Sharp.
