I just wish companies such as Coopercraft, Fosseway and Zeus (with their billet aluminum versions) would drop the 'go-faster' logos and badges on their front calipers. Don't see why we should pay for their products and allow them free and bold advertising. If SNGB stamped their logo on their replacement parts there would be an outcry so why do we even consider fitting parts that shout out 'I am ruining the look of your E-Type and you are paying for the privilege of telling the world about us'. Maybe Martin Robey will press all the panels with their logo (visible on the wings would be nice) and BAS will imprint their logo on the leather seat covers and carpets.

This is just a follow-on from buying a new car. My BMW has the dealers name on the number plates, a tax disc holder and they put a sticker in the rear window. When I removed the latter the top two lines of the heated rear window stopped working. Some also paint their name on the car boot. Self promotion gone mad!!!

Quite right, apologies if this isn't allowed, I'm new to BCC and classic cars but happy to answer any questions on calipers or leaf springs. If not I'm just here to observe and learn

I've just bought Coopercraft aluminium front upgrades. They look well made. The larger caliper though needs a piece cutting from the dust shield. I was going to buy a new set of shields and keep the originals until I found that new shields will cost £200 each !

I'm weighing up whether to leave the shields off.
