For some reason, whenever I click on the diagram in Post #10 it just goes to the postimage website and does not display the image.
Apologies therefore for asking this question (in case the answer is on the diagram in that post)……. for all 3.8 cars, am I right in thinking that the Ignition light simply acts as that? I can find no sign of any linkage on the 3.8 wiring diagram between the ignition warning lamp circuit and the oil pressure sender.

Hi Phil.....Have a look at the explanation i gave in post 3.......the 3.8 diagram in the service manual just shows an ignition warning lamp no connection to oil..is this for all 3.8?.....re the diagram i just posted it from my tablet useing the post image feature so dont think you can click on it as its not stored on post image.....you can enlarge it......however its the S1 4.2 diagram...Steve

Hello Phil,
Perhaps the following picture showing the area of interest enlarged. In the case of the earlier cars, the Ignition Light would come on when there was no, or very little oil pressure.

Regards,
Bill

I asked the photo question and another poster told me that if you right click on the picture and "copy image location"
and paste this in the address bar in a new window and enter, this will display the picture.
This worked for me.
