Hiya my name is kieron the car in question is a 62 ots. I'd like to get as much info on the car as possible. It had flat floors fitted but not sure if its right

First thing is to get a Heritage Certificate from Jaguar. It will have all the car details on it and, if you are lucky, the first owners name (provided he filled in the warranty card). http://www.jaguarheritage.com/heritage-certificate
Next you could check to see if your car is on www.xkedata.com and if not, add it. You can also browse for cars either side of your car number to give you a sense of what changes Jaguar introduced at the time your car was built.
You should consider buying an originality book - the one by Anders Clausager 'Factory Original Jaguar E-Type' would be a good start. https://www.amazon.co.uk/d/cka/Factory- ... uar+e-type
