#1 677 FYP - where is it now?

Post by richard btype » Tue Feb 21, 2017 4:49 pm

I wonder if my ex 1963 OTS in O. Silver Blue with dark blue interior is known to anyone, reg no 677 FYP, I sold it in the summer of 1987 with from memory 63k miles, and on checking whether still taxed - has not been so since sold - did it go for export I wonder?

I recall the first owner (I was the second) recalled taking the train to London to collect on the day the news broke about the 'Profumo affair' as it was all in the headlines then.

that would be a nice find if its still out there. I also can't locate my first 3.8 FHC. It was bought as a restoration project and all I can recall was that it was originally Gunmetal with Biscuit. PEY or PEJ reg. Never seen since I sold it in about 1984. What a silly chap I was! Hope you find your OTS
