Hello,
It is weekend and I am anxious to get working again on my "e". Probably a no brainer for the lot of you, but can anyone help with the following issue:
I would like to replace on the dash the "chrome" heat controls and choke control by new ones without too much inflicting too much damage to the dash or removing any panels unnecessarily..
Can anyone let me know how would I have to go about doing this ?
many thx as always
Erik

Hi Erik
I've converted a few e-types from LHD to RHD, therefore I changed the chrome trim whilst the dash ends were out. However I would'nt think it would be that hard to do with them in place.
You need to remove the dash top and the panels underneath, at this stage you would be able to see the two nuts sucuring each trim to the dash.
Let me know how it goes and feel free to call me if you get stuck.

It's more a case of how it went back. The dash top that is.
