#1 Heater fan motor very noisy

Hello
I turned my heater fan for the first time in 1 or 2 years and it makes a real racket! I assume it is the fan motor running in a dry bearing/bush. I think the motor has bronze bushes (not bearings).
Question 1: Do you use any lubricant in this area? I am not sure if you would use a light oil or graphite.
Question 2: If you were to lubricant do you have to take the whole fan assembly out?
Cheers
Francis
