Both Framptons and Tippers show examples of how classic car plates look. They should help as well as what Steve has shown you

Excellent thank you that’s the spacing and the stroke width sorted, I think I need to check my character width though.

Is the X correct in that font? It looks like the modern style.

I’m assuming the front plate on your FHC is deemed correct font David?

The characters were hand cut by Tippers so they are probably not the CW1935 font and I went with their guidance. Rear plate is correct because it is an ACE.
