#1 Rear wheel arch repair

Post by PaulColeman » Sun Aug 27, 2017 11:22 am

I'm struggling to blend a rear wheel arch repair in on my S1 FHC. What I wanted to know was in the picture below if points A, B & C should all be dead flat at the height of the middle point of the rear bumper. I currently have a dip between points A & B. Thanks, Paul.

Hi Paul....google e type plan view http://inetogether.net/jaguar/showmap.php also in jag service manual body section page N26....Edit....the link above dosnt look correct......just checked my S2 2+2 with the diagram in the service manual....very similar straight from C to B and then to just befor center of wheel arch then curves in to the bumper......as the diagram if you put a straight edge across the line...Steve

Thanks for the reply. I've arranged to go and have a look at one tomorrow with my rule in hand (and no, that's not a euphemism!).

Paul.
