S1 Rear Lights

Hi,
1967 S1 FHC LHD.
Two questions:

1. If I buy rear light units with uk spec orange lenses, will the wiring be plug and play from the lights to the loom?

2. If, for some reason (originality) I wanted to put my old USA red lenses back on the new (UK spec) light housing body, would they fit?

Yes and yes.

The only difference is a red bit of plastic stuck to an orange bit of plastic instead of two red bits of plastic stuck to each other.
