Does any body know where I can get a crown and pinion 2.88 ratio
I have a series 1.5 1967 and cant find one for my restoration

Some of the XJS cars had 2.88 (maybe all of them?) so a potential source. Otherwise Alan Slawson is the man to contact for a diff rebuild.

These guys usually have a few tested good ones. I put a 2.88 into mine, it was £500 and perfect.

You need a Salisbury Powerlocker XJS unit, not the Dana unit, the XJS had both.
