Where to buy hood frame timber parts?

I’m re assembling my hood frame after blasting and painting and need to get new timber pieces for the front pan, unfortunately my car arrived with the hood frame already stripped.

Are there two pieces or just one large one at the leading edge and who makes them please? I imagine a lot of fettling will be required wherever I buy from.

Hutson or SNG Barrett ,I think the front timber is made by SNG & its all one piece.

Many early pictures missing, but from 31st May 2017 onwards it's complete and I would suggest that it's the only coherent account currently available anywhere on the net that explains how to get the metal hood-pan AND the wooden spar to live correctly together, and end up with the all-elusive correct alignment of the top windscreen trims.

In my opinion it is vital to treat these as TWO separate entities ; you 1) make the wood fit the windscreen and the pillars, and 2) you make the metal fit the top trim, INDEPENDANTLY of each other, and THEN you adjust the interface between the two so they fit together without compromising 1) and 2).

PM me if you want more advice, I also have the jig I made to rigidify the hood-pan whilst it was having metal added to get the shape I wanted.

Thanks for the replies, has anyone tried the cmc one made from resin? It’s a nice idea but I imagine not very suitable for fettling compared to a timber one?
