I can't tell my right from my left... My careful labelling fell by the wayside during the plating process and I didn't photo the quarterlight frames before I dismantled them.
These photos are from above. The leading edge of the quarterlight frame where it hinges on the B post - is the hinge bead towards the inside of the car like this?
Or towards the outside like this?

The hinge bead goes towards the outside on my car.
You'll know which is correct if you temporarily join the pillar to the quaterlight. Correct and the quaterlight frame and the pillar will be roughly central with each other. Wrong and the quaterlight frame will be miles off to one side.

Outside, like shown on your 2nd picture (taken from above) is correct. I have my quarterlights out and just had a look in my garage.
