#1 3.8 OTS values, July 2018

Hello,
Asking prices are all over the place, so are car conditions. Anyone have any thoughts on what a freshly restored Series 1, 3.8 OTS is? Perfectly restored to be precise.

LHD
All the numbers match on the car, the data plate, and the Heritage Certificate, and the colors are as it was born, white with red interior.
Car is in the US.
Has been in my family since 1982. I commissioned an insane over the top restoration that is just being completed now.
NO modifications. I hate modifications. As true to original as I can get it. No seat belts, no radio, no side mirrors, no antenna. Just like it was born, I hope.

I’d peg the U.S. market value of your car at between $175 - 200k. White color may hold it back a bit...might be north of $200k in a more popular color. Just my opinion...

That was for a flat floor car , which always fetch higher prices

Looks like a fabulous job
U.K. RHD would prob fetch £180-200 in the correct auction in that condition
I’m not sure about the American market..however it certainly is a really excellent rebuild
Just to note in relation to earlier comments, my early 1962 OTS RHD has the same bracket as yours at the bottom end of the mirror bar.
Also my conduit for the HT leads on the head of the engine is the original and is definitely black NOT red.
I’ll check the mounting points when I get home as this varies on different dates of manufacture
The correct front sidelight lenses are fab by the way!

Maybe that is the last flat floor??
My chassis number is 877639, chassis number on that one is 876369, exactly 1270 cars apart.
Now it does not list the body number. My body number is 4159. According to this site:

the last flat floor body number for a LHD OTS was 2888. That's 1271 bodies before my body number.
Hmmmm. It's either one of the last, or was not born that way. Someone should find out the body number on it. Also, is that an original color.
