#1 LHD Series 1, but the serial number is above the cutoff in t

Post by bfeng » Sat Dec 05, 2009 5:30 am

the serial number of the series 1 I bought is 1E76488.
This is after the indicated cutoff for LHD series 1 cars, implying that this is a series 1.5 (or 1.25, 1.125, etc.).
However, I have the complete history on this car back to the day it was sold, and it is clearly an all numbers matching, series 1 car (covered HL, toggles, etc.).

Am I reading the serial number post wrong (the one in the forum library), or is there really some ambiguity in the historical data?

John : this is a 2+2 number , which appears to be correct for your car. 2+2 started in Series 1s at 1E50001 for RHD cars and 1E75001 for LHD cars
